CoffeeHQ aims to be usable by as many people as reasonably possible. CoffeeHQ is operated by HEKNO Ltd, which targets WCAG 2.2 Level AA as an internal design and testing baseline across its products, while recognising that legal accessibility obligations come from applicable law rather than WCAG alone.

What CoffeeHQ tests for

Keyboard navigation, visible focus, semantic structure, screen-reader labels, colour contrast, and accessible consent controls are checked with a combination of automated scanning (an axe-core sweep across a representative page from every major page family, including tools, calculators, favourites, the shopping list and troubleshooting flows) and manual keyboard and screen-reader spot checks, with extra attention to interactive, multi-step journeys like the coffee-maker selector and troubleshooting walkthroughs.

Known limitations

CoffeeHQ does not claim full, unconditional WCAG conformance — only material known limitations are listed here, honestly, rather than an unsupported claim of complete compliance. At narrow viewport widths, the site header's navigation wraps rather than collapsing into a compact menu: every link remains reachable with a correct touch target, but the layout is not visually compact on small screens. This is a known, low-severity limitation, not an access barrier.
