Brazil's principal robusta-growing state, where robusta is grown commercially under the regional name Conilon — a genuinely major part of Brazil's total coffee production by volume, distinct in growing conditions and typical use (much goes into instant coffee and blends) from the arabica-dominated Minas Gerais/São Paulo growing areas.
