Brazil's largest coffee-producing state by volume, encompassing several recognised growing areas within it (including Cerrado Mineiro, Sul de Minas and Matas de Minas) that differ in altitude and terrain — represented on CoffeeHQ as a parent region for that reason, rather than treating the whole state as one uniform growing area.
