Coffea arabica
The most widely grown coffee species, generally associated with more acidity and a wider flavour range than robusta. Accounts for the majority of speciality coffee production.
Caffeine content
Generally contains less caffeine per bean than robusta, though roast, dose and brew method affect the cup far more than species alone.
